1. General provisions
All persons using the facilities of the Las Salinas Youth Hostel, located at Avenida del Mojón, No. 37 in San Pedro del Pinatar (Murcia), are obliged to comply with the provisions of these regulations.
2. Object and scope of application
These rules govern the conditions of reservations, use, living arrangements, and operation of the Las Salinas Youth Hostel. Acceptance is mandatory from the moment the guest makes a reservation or uses the facilities.
3. Definition
The Las Salinas Youth Hostel offers temporary accommodation, especially for youth groups, school groups, associations, camps, families, and travelers. It fosters an atmosphere of coexistence, respect, and the development of sociocultural, sports, and educational activities.
4. Rules of organization and behavior
4.1. General and administrative
a) The hostel will be operational 365 days a year.
b) The hostel reception will have a permanent service 24 hours a day, and the dynamics of attention can be adjusted according to internal needs, without affecting the availability or quality of the service. In addition, an emergency telephone will be available to deal with urgent incidents.
c) The Check-out timetable is established from 8:00h to 12:00h, and the Check-in timetable from 15:00h to 22:00h. Reception will remain operational 24 hours a day, so that, if necessary, Check-ins can be managed outside these hours, provided that this has been communicated in advance and availability permits.
d) The allocation of reservations will be made according to availability and under confirmation by the reception of the hostel. For exclusive use of rooms, please contact the centre's reception desk in advance and ask for availability and applicable booking conditions.
e) There are charges for additional supplements such as:
L.C.O. (Late Check-Out): 50% of the cost of overnight stay depending on the season. To be considered L.C.O. the client must notify reception in advance of their intention to check-out late until 15:00h maximum.
Late Check-out: 10,00€ per hour of delay with respect to the maximum Check-out time (12:00h).
Other sanctions that the management and/or reception may consider appropriate for non-compliance with any of the rules contained herein.
f) It is forbidden to bring any type of animal onto the premises. Excluded from the general prohibition of this section are the dogs referred to in Law 4/2015, of 3 March, on assistance dogs for people with disabilities.
g) At the time of Check-in it is compulsory to present an Official Identity Document.
h) At Reception (Ground Floor) a magnetic card for access to the room will be provided upon deposit of a deposit of 10.00€, intended to cover possible expenses due to loss or non-return. This deposit will be refunded when the card is returned in good condition at the end of the stay.
i) Access to the rooms is exclusively by means of personal magnetic cards.
j) Each room will be provided with bunk beds, bed linen and blankets. For greater comfort, users may request the rental or purchase of towels at reception, subject to availability.
k) As communal accommodation, it is compulsory to respect the general rules of personal hygiene, both personal and in the use of services and facilities, and to maintain silence in bedrooms from 23:00h onwards.
l) Cooking and smoking are not allowed in the whole building.
m) Users who cause material damage to the building, its installations or to other people are obliged to pay for the damage or to compensate for the damage caused, and personal objects or documents may be retained until they have been paid for.
4.2. In the Common Areas
The hostel has an alarm system and video surveillance to guarantee security. The furniture must be respected and the use of these areas is subject to compliance with the rules of the centre.
4.3. In the rooms.
It is forbidden to hang clothes outside, use unauthorised electrical appliances, throw rubbish and objects out of windows, disturb others with the volume of appliances or voice, eat and smoke. It is compulsory to maintain order, cleanliness and respect the rest of others.
4.4. Toilets.
Toilets must be used correctly, for the purposes for which they are intended and when necessary, to avoid damage and breakdowns, and to report any damage or breakdowns promptly.
4.5. Access
Access is via the main entrance. The emergency exit shall be properly signposted and equipped with a panic exit. In the event of fire, do not use lifts.
4.6. Services
There are chemists, supermarkets, transport, restaurants, etc. in the vicinity.
